The waterfall tears of Leura Weeping Rock

“What better place to test a new lens than Leura Weeping Rock, below Bridal Veil Falls in the Blue Mountains. Leura Weeping Rock lies between the much larger Bridal Veil Falls and Leura Falls in the Blue Mountains.
I have been photographing it for a number of years, and every time I do it presents a different face and thus a different challenge. Despite the confined space in which it resides, Leura Weeping Rock is very photogenic and can be well captured from several angles. Generally though it is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the area, and is sometimes missed by those who run on the track nearby instead of walking.
I can easily spend several hours here in the early morning when the light is at its best, and often do. My next exhibition will display my Blue Mountains work and I am hoping I can include an image or two of Leura Weeping Rock, if not this particular photograph,” he says.
