A dainty green and gold frog

Says Ryan, a photographer and ecologist working in North West Queensland:
“This dainty green tree frog (Litoria gracilenta) was found on the banks of Yabba Creek near Imbil on the Sunshine Coast after the first decent storm in a few months brought an array of frog species out. It was found along with eastern dwarf sedge frogs (Litoria fallax) in the rushes along the creeks edge.”
