Using the Gold Coast as a gateway, Caroline experiences some of South Eastern Queensland’s best wildlife encounters, land and sea

Flying directly from Coolangatta to Lady Elliot Island Caroline enjoys the varied and gorgeous birdlife to be seen on the island and in the skies. As Lady Eliot Island has the highest seabird diversity of any island on the Great Barrier Reef, there’s plenty to see. The island is alsoone of the prime seabird breeding locations in the Great Barrier Reef, with estimates of over 100,000 birds breeding there each year.

Next up, Caroline explores  the islands crystal clear waters coming face to face with giant green turtles, leopard sharks and majestic manta rays.
