This week’s reader shot is a cute wombat digging, at the Marapana Wildlife Park in Western Australia.
THIS CUTE PICTURE OF a wombat is this week’s Australian Geographic reader shot from contributor Steve Streeter.
“This photo of a wombat digging into the side of a grass bank was taken at Marapana Wildlife Park, south of Perth, Western Australia,” says Steve. “As of 8 May 2011, the park will be closed tp relocate to a larger property in the same area and and will reopen in 2012 as West Coast Wildlife Park and West Coast Wildlife Rescue, a rescue and rehabilitation hospital.”
