This elephant weevil was found climbing among the bright colours of a Gold Coast garden.

This week’s reader photo was taken by Tiana Reimann, on the Gold Coast, OLD.

“I found this garden elephant weevil sitting upon a hedge in my garden in the Gold Coast. The background colours are all natural. The orange and yellow colours are the seeds, the purples are the flowers and the green is the leaves. These are one of my favourite insects to photograph because they always end up looking so cute!” she said.
