Our pick of events this National Science Week
National Science Week has grown into one of Australia’s largest festivals since it was first held in 1997.
In 2021, despite a global pandemic, 1.3 million people participated in more than 1750 events and activities.
This year activities and events are being held all around Australia and range from a record-breaking rocket launch in Queensland to beer science in Tasmania, and even an inflatable “poo palace” in the Hunter Valley.
There are hundreds of online opportunities and activities, and in-person events, with organisers mindful of the need for COVID safety.
