A storm cell rolls across the hills near Perth, Western Australia, just as the sun begins to rise – turning the thundering clouds pink and purple.
This week’s reader photo was taken by David in Perth, Western Australia.
“Whilst heading out to capture the sunrise in the hills surrounding Perth, I was a little concerned by the weather. Heavy clouds threatened rain but the rain actually held off till I was leaving, and by then I had more than I bargained for! The clouds added drama to the scene with the sun up lighting them and the mist in the valley added atmosphere. Such an incredible sight”, he said.
