Join us for the Australian Geographic Society’s annual get-together to honour the highest achievers in the fields of adventure and conservation, and, in the process, raise vital funds for AGS projects. The AG Society is a non-profit organisation that supports scientific research, conservation and the spirit of adventure.

Each year the highlight of the AG calendar is the annual awards, at which past and present winners congregate in a celebration of conservation efforts and the spirit of adventure. First presented in 1987, the AGS Awards are Australia’s longest-running awards for adventure, and with the addition of the conservation awards in the early 1990s, they celebrate the best of Australian endeavour.

It’s always an inspiring night filled with thrilling stories, stirring speakers, and superb wine and food in an elegant setting.

Join us this October to congratulate ordinary Australians doing extraordinary things.
