This interesting white bird has become a sight to see at the Royal Botanical Gardens Sydney recently, with people believing it to be either a rare white magpie or an entirely new species of bird altogether. But neither would be true.
White is a rare colour in nature and though these creatures are beautiful, their colouring comes with disadvantages, such as poor eyesight, and increased risk of sunburn and being seen by predators.
