If you’re doing the Great Ocean Road, then Tower Hill why not travel just 15km extra for a great side trip

Just beyond Warrnambool, Tower Hill Reserve is inside the crater of an extinct volcano which last erupted 32,000 years ago. The Worn Gundidj people lived here for many years and benefited from the abundance of the area, including feasts of emu and echidna.
