Just six hours from Cairns, Undara Volcanic National Park is named for the forces that created its dramatic geological formations

David visits the Undara Volcanic National Park to see the famous Undara Lava Tubes. The site of a volcanic eruption, Undara’s vast tunnels were created by a huge volume of lava carving a path through the landscape. Scientists estimate that so much lava flowed through this place, it could have filled Sydney Harbour in just six days.
